My Journey from the Corporate World to Real Estate

There comes a time in everyone’s life when we pause and reflect — on what truly matters, what brings meaning, and what we want to leave behind. My path toward creating my own real estate brand, Bonamente, was a gradual one — but all the more grounded because of it.
It wasn’t a sudden leap, but a conscious decision I now pursue with humility, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of purpose.
It all started with the simple sale of my own apartment.
My first encounter with the world of real estate didn’t come from professional ambition — it came from personal need. I was selling my apartment in Bratislava. As someone with an analytical mindset, I didn’t want to rely on gut feeling or quick advice from the internet. I needed to understand the entire process — from valuation and marketing to buyer communication and legal formalities. I spent countless hours studying, comparing, and tracking market trends.
To my own surprise, I found myself genuinely enjoying it. Before I knew it, I was helping friends and family with their sales too. Not for money — just because I understood how it worked, I knew I could help, and I found real satisfaction in the results.
Balancing a Full-Time Job with Real Estate
My primary job was still in the corporate world — a stable environment that offered structure, security, and clear career growth. For nearly 20 years, I worked in various client-facing roles in finance and data analysis. And while I achieved results and recognition, something was missing. The work often felt impersonal — focused on performance, numbers, and targets... but not enough on people.
At the same time, I had already started collaborating with a few real estate agencies on the side — initially as an external consultant during sales. But the more I immersed myself in real estate, the more I realized this was the space where I could finally combine what I truly enjoyed: an analytical mindset and meaningful work with people.
After 20 Years of Experience, It Was Time
After nearly two decades in the corporate world, I made a decision. Not because I was unhappy — but because I had found something that gave me a deeper sense of meaning. Being a real estate agent isn’t just about selling apartments — it’s about trust. It’s about someone placing their most important asset in your hands and expecting you to guide them through a process that is often unfamiliar, stressful, and deeply emotional.
That’s how the idea of starting my own real estate agency was born — not just another agency, but one that would be different. More human. More personal. Built on truth and trust.
That’s how Bonamente came to life.
What Does “Bonamente” Mean?
Bonamente is a combination of two Latin words — “bona” (good, honest) and “mente” (mind, intention). It means “with good intention” or “honestly and thoughtfully”.And that’s exactly how we approach every client.
We’re starting out as a small, family-run real estate agency. We don’t have a fleet of cars or a corporate headquarters. But we do have something often more rare — a story, and values we truly live by.
Our Values Are More Than Just Phrases
At Bonamente, we believe that trust is built through action — not just words. That’s why our values aren’t slogans. They’re the foundation of how we work:
Truth – We say things as they are. No sugarcoating.
Responsibility – We take our role seriously. No excuses.
Understanding – Every client has a story. We listen.
Respect – For our clients, and for the values and needs of others.
Freedom – You’re free to choose — your agent, your payment method, your pace. We’re here to support, not to control.
At the Heart of It All: A Personal Approach
Every client is unique. Properties aren’t just square meters — they’re memories, investments, and plans for the future. We want our clients to feel that someone is truly on their side — whether they’re selling a family apartment, buying their very first home, or investing with a long-term vision.
That’s why we go the extra mile to make sure no one “gets lost in the system.”At Bonamente, you’re not just another case. You’re a person — and our mission is to help you make the right decision, with clarity and care.
Data in Mind. Humanity at Heart.
I haven’t left my analytical roots behind — quite the opposite. I’ve given them a new purpose.Every day, I track the market, analyze sales data, monitor price trends, competition, and investment returns.Because in real estate, gut feeling isn't enough — you need proof, and you need numbers.
But I also believe that an analytical mind alone is not enough. That’s why at Bonamente, we combine data with empathy. We call it:
"Humanity at heart. Data in mind."

Starting Out – But Not From Scratch
We may be a new brand, but we’re not rookies.
Years of experience, dozens of successful sales, real results, and satisfied clients — that’s the foundation we’re building on.
Bonamente is a new chapter for us, but we’re writing it with a pen we’ve held for a long time.
What Comes Next?
Our ambition isn’t to be the biggest. Our ambition is to be the most trusted. We want to grow sustainably — by using modern tools, market data, and analytics — while never forgetting that at the center of everything is the human being.
Maybe you're standing at a crossroads — selling your home, buying a new one, or simply exploring your options.Wherever you are in that journey, you’re welcome at Bonamente — with openness, respect, and good intentions.
Because just as I made a change in my professional life, I want to help you make yours — safely, confidently, and with trust. And if you, too, believe that every good partnership begins with truth and humanity, then we’re here for you.
